Has any one out there put a later model fan that runs from the end of the crank onto an early type 1 motor? I am thinking of this for my splitty van to leave room above for a supercharger. Any comments would be appreciated. :hangloose
the t1 1600 fitted to the t25/t3 used this set up from factory - so it may be worth investigating using these parts on your t1 engine as it will save a lot of grief making custom fanhousings/ tinware etc. I believe the t25 1600 t1 was coded a CT?? but im not entiorely sure. I see no reason why the stuff couldnt be swapped over although you would obviously have to use the oil cooler etc too.....which since your clearly making a hIPO engine - you MAY be able to use a t4 cooler too as its larger adn was designed to fit in simlar orientation to the CT engine cooler.
