i wander if anyone can help with a dilemma? i have a 65' split which i lowered years ago. front end is a lowered beam and lowered shocks, the rear has been turned 2 splines. i cut down the front bump stops but both ends are still grinding out touching the bump stops. i have been told i need to sort this for MOT.
if i cut the rear bump stops i highly doubt it will not make a difference, other than potentially lowering it even more!
obviously there is the IRS rear option with dropped spindles up front. i am skint and trying to avoid that. it has to be that low as i have 14inch fuchs and need to fill the arches. any ideas how to keep ride height and gain play in the suspension?? emails and responses welcome

i run without any bump stops!
all signs of them are removed!

are you saying that you have cut off the metal which holds the bump stops on?
you get no probs with mot?

yea no front ones

cut close to the beam and im running a straight axle out back and the bumpstops wont fit back on! :eek:

i think the problem is if the bump stops are damaged or missing?
if there are no bumpstop mounting points then there carnt be a problem !?

but i never told u this! :D

Why not just raise it for the mot, then drop it again after?
