We stayed here last year

it's about 30 minutes from the Airport, and about the same for supermarkets etc.

Vilamoura is about 20 minutes away, there's a huge beach and a massive marina (the marina is excellent).

On the way to Vilamoura there's a large waterpark (we went a couple of times), and also a go-karting track (lots of different cc cars) small tracks for children etc.

The villa itself is on the side of a mountain, so you'll need a car, but you get great views, because of the location the rent is very reasonable.

We're looking to go back this year.
