i would think so although the aluminium case will expand faster than the iron barrels and strangley the barrel holes dont get smaller, 0.3mm is so tiny sounds about right, i never really found barrels to be a tight fit else you may never get them apart again.
Does any one know.....
....what clearance there should be between the barrels and the holes they go in on the crank case and the heads? I've got 0.30 mm on both i.e the barrels are a bit smaller. Is this for expansion?
