...my work means I work silly shifts, I work a lot of weekends and miss a lot of shows and parties with friends as a result BUT...

...I am happier than a pig in shit when I can sit in my local for a few hours by myself (on a random weekday afternoon) with the latest copy of Ultra/Volksworld/Custom Car for company, most people in there know me/my job/my love of dubs and are happy to say hello and leave it there...I think they can see the look of contentment on my face...

...I caught a loved up couple looking at me as if to say "aww, one day he'll get a girlfriend without wheels"...

...I have the most beautiful fiance and an almost as beautiful v-dub, but I might have looked a little bit sad! :D

Work odd shifts too, nothing better than a weekday off, housemate at work, and ultra or vworld hits the doormat.

Bottle of wine, munchies, hot bath for a few hours reading the features then an afternoon snooze all chilled out ;)

No matter how stressed i get at work, those days make it all worthwhile :D

Nah, not sad at all.

Sometimes if I have a rest day during the week (Royal Mail deliveries do Saturdays so to compensate we have a revolving day off during the week which until recently I always worked), the night before I would go down the local Spoons and read a guitar mag. My theory was that if I didn't have anyone to go out with that night - bare in mind all my work mates are tucked up on bed - I'd rather be out and about that sitting at home. Makes sense to me.

And at least your reading a good mag. If you were openly sitting there with a copy of 'Sheep Lover Monthly' or 'The Readers Digest guide to giving a guinnea pig anal' then maybe I wouldn't be so supportive. But nah, I don't reckon there's anything wrong with you, pal! :)

No 'guinee pig anal' was getting so passe, I find the bi-monthly issue of 'Hamster-bumming' is where its at, can only be beaten by the half-yearly 'gerbil-felching' wipe clean special ;) :D

Doesn't make you sad. But it might mean you're an alcoholic!
