Because I'm disabled I can't just jump in a car and start learning, first of all I have to be assessed.

Does anyone know exactly what that involves?

Cheers!

as far as i'm aware it's a preliminary to see what adaptations you will/won't need to a car? when i remember where my books from it all are, i'll let you know properly Ty :D

Shit scared that they'll turn round and say there's no way in hell they'll let me loose on the roads :( I can only try though.

tyzer, chances are if they reckon you need adaptations, you'll get to try them on the track ;)

It's exactly what it says, an assessment.

You get to drive once they know what adaptations you need, don't worry.

My sis went to the one in Reading and they were lovely!

Best o' Luck
