eye lids?????

Do you take your chrome light surround off and fit it to this then refit the light surround?

I tried this for an hour. I think mabey I have been given some duff sourounds coz I got new ones of them as well. Might try the lids on my old ones.

the eyelid kind of clips into the light rim, i bought some years ago from JK and they were crap do i bought some from ssp (german quality) they fit loads better so it could be the lids, post some pics if poss ill try and help better

same with me mate.... the ones i had off jk just wouldn't squeeze in between the rim and the glass! (so i gave up!!)

getting the idea that just campers may not be the best!

we got the same problems, got ours from schofeilds, keep us informed if you have any luck getting them on, davie

the replacement shrouds for the lights are not actually metal I think they are plastic. I have tried the lids with my old ones and they fit perfect. Going to take em to the loacal chroming guy next week and see if he can re chrome the light shrouds for me. Also considered finding out if he could do it to my wheels, Doubt I could afford this but why not ask anyway.

I tried fitting some to my beetle then my camper and it was a bit of a job but managed to get them on in the end, but I had to stretch some of the clips and leave some off.
