nic,when you lived in fittleworth,do you remember freddie "sagey" sageman,he brewed homemade cider and perrie and held open house untill the early hours most evenings,and lived opposite the police station.i remember going round there about '83/84.

Think it was a couple of doors down from cop house but never met them old square victorian house set back from road. orchard in garden i believe from memory.

thats the one..........funny how you suddenly remember people/things from years back for no reason.he used to drive a beige simca too. :D people from miles around used to turn up at his place after the pubs shut.if he's still alive he must be well into his eighties.

Thinking back now I think he actually died whilst i was there hence I never got to sample his wares,and the garden was sold off and has been built on which was a real shame although i may just be imagining this. Primary school just down the road was made into houses and new one next to Club House.
If you go to White hart at Stopham on one of their mega band days though you are bound to find someone brewing still;)

You may even meet some rock giants as well as they all live around that area and form their own little bands:)
