Fixing sound deadening mats and carpet down?

Whats the best way of doing this? Some sort of glue? Spray on maybe?

Cheers for the imput guys! Ive just looked and my sound deadening is the "peel and stick" stuff to i guess i dont have to worry about that! (Thought it wasnt sticky) so if i just use a good paint on automotive contact adhesive that should stick my carpets down nicely?

Just looked on ebay and its about ÂŁ20 a litre, that sound right?

I stuck my firewall/bulkhead/innerwing carpet with hd contact, but loose laid the floor carpet incase I need to lift it anytime. The hd contact sticks like shite to a blanket :)

I'll be using the proper interior material glue for the headlining....when it gets done that is :rolleyes:
