Disconnect the rear gearshift coupling and the clutch and acc. cables and make sure you have enough slack in the fuel hose. Support the engine/transmission, and back the frame horn bolts off to nearly the ends of their threads. Put a pair of Beetle jacks either side of the transmission on the torsion bar housing and the axle tubes close to the transmission and jack the whole lot back until you have enough clearance to wiggle the mount out.
You may have to remove the frame horn bolts but be very careful if you do, they're easy to cross-thread, and if the weight isn't supported the end threads will be damaged as you remove the bolts.
