Not just you guys. Brexit was/is a shitshow but fuel prices are mental everywhere. I follow a page on Facebook (it's a spin-off from an American band fan page I followed that used to have lots of Republican/Democrat arguments so they created another page to talk politics) and they're having massive fuel price hikes too. I'm lucky that I have a company car and a DCI card (even though I'm taxed through the nose on my salary). 500 litres of heating oil cost me €720 about three weeks ago. That's mental. Its probably just us. Most of the world cant stand us anyway. And Brexit finished off any friends we had in Europe.
A bit harsh, we've just got our best result at the Eurovision Song Contest in years. Its probably just us. Most of the world cant stand us anyway. And Brexit finished off any friends we had in Europe.
True, i take it all backA bit harsh, we've just got our best result at the Eurovision Song Contest in years.
I assumed that was down to people with fat thumbs trying to vote Ukraine and accidentally selecting UK.A bit harsh, we've just got our best result at the Eurovision Song Contest in years.

I used to think €350 was expensive! That's proper mental oil pricing - what do you normally pay?
Home heating oil is my pet peeve, re "What do you normally pay?". In England (for 500L):
April 2021: £215
Sept 2021: £250
Nov 2021: £300
Jan 2022: £310
March 2022: £336
May 2022: £500
Today: £548.05
It's been over £600 in the past couple of months. It's a urine extraction. ~250% increase in 14 months.... More than doubled since the start of autumn. Dreading this winter.
May 2020 we were paying £150![]()
I think we paid nearly a grand the last time we topped up the tank.
I used to think €350 was expensive!
😂Want to keep filling up costs down? Buy smaller tanks.
I read somewhere recently (might have been Facebook) where a fella reckons there's no issue with fuel increases...he only putting £20 in the tank at a time...Want to keep filling up costs down? Buy smaller tanks.
