got a little oil leak

i serviced my 76 bus the other week. i took out the oil strainer cleaned it replaced the gasket but ever since it drips oil. i keep tightening the bolt up but i'm worried i'm gonna thread it. does anyone know if it will over tighten or can i give it a proper seeing to :tick: .

The correct torque is 0.7mkg. Hopefully you don't have bolts in it, but nuts on studs.

Is it coming from the centre plug, or one of the six nuts that hold the sump plate on? did you use all of the gaskets that came in the new kit - paper ones either side of the strainer, copper ones on the six nuts and under the plug?

it drips from the edge of the round plate that holds the strainer in.
