I just recently bought myself a code reader for my 2 Audi a4's......

It turned up today well packaged and delivered extremely quickly ( especially as i live a gazillion miles away from the real world)

When opening up the package 2 packs of sweeties dropped out...but.... the sweeties is not why i am writing this thread.....

Below is my confirmation email from the company i used..... Gendan Automotive parts Limited in Swansea......

Copied n pasted.......

Your product has been gently taken from our shelves with soft cotton gloves and placed on a cushion for its journey to the packing area.

A team of 4 packers thoroughly inspected your item and polished it to ensure it is in the best possible condition before beginning the packing process.

Our packing specialist from Sweden lit a scented candle and demanded silence from everyone in the office. A perfect ambiance is required to allow him to achieve packaging perfection.

Once completed, we all had a wonderful celebration and the team marched to the delivery company, waving and spreading good cheer as we journeyed through Swansea. Everyone applauded, shouted Bon Voyage! and hugged one another as the van left.

I couldnt stop laughing when i read it...but, what a wonderful way of doing business, certainly in this day and age where it feels like most places just want yer dosh as soon as you walk in.......

Must be an Audi thing. A guy at work is waiting on the birth of his Audi TT and has been getting regular progress reports from the factory. The high point was when they emailed him a photo of it (or any generic TT, to be fair, who knows?) in the paint shop with the caption "Every inch of your car has now been gently buffed with emu feathers to remove the slightest trace of dust and contaminants before being painted by state-of the art robots"

Emu feathers and robotic arms. Sounds like one of those more obscure special-interest dating sites  The main difference being I suspect your code reader firm are being tongue in cheek. Audi.... not so much

brilliant :)

you should send it to ebay and ask them to forward it to all their sellers as it is very clear to me a large number of sellers have not got a single clue about packing things to post / ship to buyers
