Spring plate

Hi, first off if you haven't already done so you'll have to disconect your handbrake cable at the front or rear. Then unbolt the plate from the hub or reduction box. It will then be free for you to move your brake drum/hub etc to one side as far as you can. You can then place your spring plate back on the splines with no obstruction as long as you know/marked which spline it is located to!
to fit back the plate to hub be careful to make sure all bolts are in hand tight and not cross threaded, you may need to use a g clamp to stop the 'twist' on the plate. Just tighten then re-fit!
Good luck

I struggled and struggled to get the IRS spring plate back on my rail.

In the end, I did it hit with a big hammer and it worked a treat! :)
