They are held in by a pin which goes through the handle, where it attaches to the spindle in the door. Push the plastic ring and door panel into the door, (away from the handle), and you'll see the end of the pin. push it out with something like a long thin punch, (a drill bit works, but be careful it doesn't shatter).

Don't snap em off as you'll find original oval parts especially the winders etc ££££££ to replace use the pin tap it out and away you go.......
Once removed the quater light will be held in place with a bolt inside the door itself and also a self tapping screw up inside the door itself. To get at this you will have to remove part of the window seal felt guide as the screw sits behind this
