I've got a nice quality mpeg on my pc (just a music vid, no porn) and I'd like to grab a still from it. What do I need to be able to do it?

Simplest way to do it would be to do a screen grab using the print screen button on your keyboard. It won't give you a very high quality image if its taken from a vid though.

Once you've pressed print screen, go to Paint or whatever image manipulation software you use, and paste it in. Et voila.
I play my movies through Quicktime (Free player) and I have found that if you pause the movie at the place you want the pic from, just do copy and paste (ctrl 'c', ctrl 'p') into an image editor like photoshop/paint etc...Easy.
I use Cyberlink DVD player, the most recent one. It has a Photo function inbuilt. Good quality photo's!
Hmm, tried pausing it in WMP & doing a print screen into photoshop, but I just get the player window showing, not the image.

Aha, just tried Nero Show Time & that's got an image capture. :D

Cheers guys
AFAIK you can't screendump from WMP...it gets arsey about hooking up to projectors too.
