I apologise for being a complete idiot, but I'm trying to remove the torsion arms from my 1970 Beetle, in order to replace the axle beam.
The Haynes manual says to loosen the locking nuts then undo the screws. I got the locking nut undone, but how the hell do you undo the screw? There's nothing to grab hold of, or stick a screwdriver in, etc, and it's drivin me nuckin futs!
Put that with the bloody rain, running out of room to store bits, and I'm very frustrated. So please help me quick!!!
Thanks
