I love the photo editing ideas. With the right editing program it might give the feel of working under an enlarger in an old style darkroom, being able to dodge/burn areas of the photos easily, etc.
Looks great for video editing, 3D modeling, and music making.
However, for some tasks it might just be a pain in the arse - the keyboard/mouse combo still has its advantages - eg you don't have to wave your arms all over a screen to do word processing or cutting and pasting with a mouse.
But the thing with technology like that is that once it's available cheaply and becomes widespread, people start thinking of new and revolutionary ways of using it that the original inventors didn't even imagine.
