Hi all

Is it worth while being able to turn a performance engine over with the ignition off to build up some oil pressure in normal use before turning the ignition on?

Thinking of putting a separate switch in so that I can do this every time I start up? Is this overkill or is the slow speed cranking worse for the engine than an immediate start?

Engine has remote filter, cooler(with oil bypass stat) and deep sump.

Also worse for the engine, unless you pull the plugs out, and i really dont think you want to do that every start!!
