I had respect for him just because he had 2 jags.....watching the prog last night it looks like he's always had jags.....His wife was a bit scary looking but even so he came across quite well...and not because of some "media" training. It did piss me off when he met the "working class" girls though....none of them had jobs and were so obvioulsly not that far up the food chain, the gobby one just came across as an uneducated thicko....and I want to quote her

He is another great example of a rich socialist. Unlike Tony Benn, a millionaire socilaist from the start, Prescott was (is) working class, with aspirations (or should it be delusions? ) of grandeur.

He wants to preach support for the common man, but remain above him with his two Jags, big houses, big salary and important friends. The huge chip on his shoulder might have come from the last bag of them he was eating.

He almost became a Tory when he was caught shagging, as that is usually their favourite faux pas. That he could contribute so little to and take so much from this country is a disgrace.
