It's totally over the top. They do it every year in this house.

oh no :eek: its bad enough that out 7 year old has worked out it's less than 3 months to Crimbo without the gerneral punlic reiforcing it too

I hate christmas.

Well thats not true. I hate christmas up until about the 22nd December, and am totally bored of it by the 26th.

Usually gives me a few (very cold) garage days though.

I know the house, I used to live in Denton. They do it every year because (apparently) they had a son who was terminally ill and wouldn't live to see Christmas so they celebrated it early and now they do it every year in remembrance.
