Ditto here, the seller on Ebay USA that I've used a few times now is mark1vws .
No problems at all, worked out just as cheap as sourcing them in the UK, the only thing is knowing which profile key(s) to buy as there are so many available for different years......... ;)

Thanks All,

So if I tell Mark1vw the year will he know which one I need?
Very probably, but its easy to see what profile key you need as it should be stamped on the key in the form of one or two letters followed by some numbers, as long as it is an original VW key though, rather than a generic key from a key-cutting place.....?
The numbers equate to the lock number, so knowing the profile and key number it is possible to get a VW key cut by those specialising in VW locks, think Custom and Commercial in the UK can do this?
My '72 cabrio has the later 'M' code key for the doors, and from mark1vws was able to get an old-style key with the pierced VW motif but in the late 'M' profile, a bit more interesting than the stock 70's keys......but don't want to confuse you! :D
