This came in a job lot of other stuff. Not really into T4s but it's nicely done. So nice in fact I didn't realise at first the tailgate opens as it shuts so well. It's a Cararama (Hongwell)

I always remember being fascinated by one of these Galanite Beetles as a kid. There are other models but the blue bug evokes strong memories...

I don't know what the Swedes made these out of, but it's as flexible now as when it was made probably 50 years ago

Cool, my bro picked me up a red one a wee while ago, I have a vague memory of playing with a splitty pick up one too years ago in an aunts house that I wanted to keep lol

This was a little tricky to track down. Matchbox T3 ambulance from the Commando series. I've been keeping my eye out for a little while, and of course by hedging my bets I've won two of them...

Matchbox didn't make too much of this casting, a shame as it would have made a good camper. Think there are only about four different versions, and a couple of minor differences in the colour of decals and glass.

More arrivals! This is a "Buggi Playero" by Auto Pilen. It's lost several parts sadly but was too unusual to pass on

Also arriving today was this Lucky Toys MK1 Golf. I can't prove it, but I suspect this is somewhat of a copy of the Matchbox Superkings MK1 Golf, Lucky were not above copying smaller castings from other manufacturers, especially Matchbox

Corgi Simoniz Max Wax Beetle was sold under the Corgi Classics/Motoring Memories brand, can't find exact dates but certainly a lot more recently than the East African Safari version which this is modified from, after going through some changes to become a Whizzwheels and driving school car in the 70s

There are a few other versions in this range I'll be keeping an eye out for. Seen boxes with a 1998 copyright date, not bad for a casting that was released in 1965!

Was it all pre coloured etc? They'd a few other kits at the time, but nothing that tickled my fancy

Yep, all pre coloured and it clips together but i painted it with red oxide primer spray paint and glued it together. It comes with 2 sets of decals too. A set of sticky back stickers plus a sheet of water slide decals too.
I got it finished today. Forgot to glue the front plate on for the piccies though.

Some specs. Powered by a massive :ROFLMAO: 822cc single cylinder air-cooled diesel making 11hp (later a huge 14) its the size of a mini or Fiat 500.
It fits nicely in a Ferrero Rocher tub too.
