Yeah...I got a bit obsessed with those! Still haven't found the rare purple one with standard wheels. I do have an unusual variant which has the larger wheel arches but the narrow Superfast wheels, it's not in great shape though

This is the better one that I have in cupboard, think I paid around £8 at a toy fair about 15yr ago. The other is same colour but can’t remember if it has those wheels or super fast. Bro got me it for 50p or £1

That one's the "usual" later Superfast with wider wheels, they enlarged the arches to fit them but for some reason a few have early, thinner Superfast wheels

Another VW landed today, a Treasure Hunt version of the Hot Wheels Mayers Manx from early on (the second release of this casting).

As you can see, the windscreen's been snapped off - but I had a spare

Found several differences, the 2004 TH has a separately cast engine, and thinner roll bar and steering column compared to the 2014 I took apart

I’ve a similar sized lt minibus with opening rear doors, but different wheels.. Has been painted a few times but started as an emergency vehicle of some sort. I got it new in 1988

The very one! Think mine was white originally with red stripes. It’s navy now from memory, I just thought it was cool to see one 😎 think it was dear enough for what it was, although I still remember forking out £8 on a vitesse splitscreen big on same holiday 😂 think they nearly blew my savings for the whole week
