lowering a split

what's the preffered method for lowering a split (front only). I've been aqsked to do one, but having only done bugs before, I was wondering the best way to go about it. Are albatross kits from ssp the best option or is there another way?

The Albatrose adjusters seem the best way to go about it. I've heard of another make shearing while driving :eek:

Mine has a Foksy adjuster from www.bluebird-type2.co.uk on the top beam but does make the ride quite harse as the bottom bean is quite loaded.
