Got a spot for my bug on the Simply Bugs facebook groups stand at tatton. (y)

As it was a lot cooler in the garage than in the house (only 21c in there) i decided to check the tappet clearance and points gap. Both the same as they were last time i checked. 👍
New cork rocker cover gaskets fitted too.

Rotor still looks new and the points gap was still in spec too. :)

She started up first turn of the key but was a little grumpy as it was too hot for the choke. I made a 10 second video but its 16.4MB big.

Cheers.

Spent today sorting out things like car insurance, pensions and life insurance policies with my mum.
She's now has her first car registered to her and her first car insurance too (in her mid 70's), after being a named driver on my dads insurance since 1993. She's got maximum NCD as shes probably only driven a few times since passing her test.

Thanks.
I've spent the past week in the north east again sorting through his stuff with my mum. Found some old photos from the early 1970s including this one of him and my mum when he was 30.

I am really looking forward to “just” be concerned of the weather and not the ten million minor and larger problems / decisions one have to sort out messing around with the renovation. ;)

I try to imaging just to place my a... in the seat and drive out in the sunshine. It must be a wonderful feeling.

Sorry to hear the news. Lost my mum last month too. If there's anything I can help with message me
Cheers. I think everything is sorted now. Gonna have to head up to the north east again next month to tidy up the garden and garage. Theres about 50 years of collected tools and stuff in there needing sorting out.
