He was sick of supporting Arsenal and having to pay huge ticket prices, so he advertised himself on eBay as a supporter for sale!
He had interest and bids from various clubs including AC Milan and some Ozzy rules clubs. He had promised to attend 4 home games if a UK club bought him and one game for any foreign club.
He was bought by Shrewsbury Utd for £102.68! He attended the first game and was taken onto the pitch and introduced to the crowd as the latest signing - they went crazy. Next home game he's doing the raffle at half time in the centre of the pitch. He's been on five live and is on one of the national papers web sites!
Actually no money has changed hands as yet, but he has got 2 club shirts and 4 free tickets!

Correct, anyone can choose a top club and start supporting it even if they don't live anywhere near. perhaps he should have sensibly chosen a team closer to home without all this ebay stuff, but oh so funny though!! Have been to watch shrewsbury at gay meadow a few times, nice little town
