I thought we were going to get over this whole thing when Dope Beat Derek did a runner.

Patina and rust are opposites.

Patina is traces left by use.
Rust is traces left by lack of use.

Shouldn´t say one when you mean the other.

ummmm no they aren't - surely the opposite of rust would be a mint showroom fresh paint job (which incidentally would be my preference)

No matter, people still say 'patina' when they mean rust.
People will get over it just as soon as the next 'big thing' comes around.
