What would you folk recommend for a decent exhaust system to replace the stock item and to function properly with heat exchangers.

I'm running a standard 1600TP at the moment but will probably end up with a rebuilt 1641 /engle cam + twin carbs (35 Solex or smaller Webers) so the system needs to work for both

cheers

I use a 'Mexican' zaust as was a VW option, now [roduced by 'EMPI' i think. Integral four into1 tube and muffles with stock positioned twin tubes. Fits std heat exchangers well/ You will need some heat riser block off plates 9or a welder) weh you come to fit the twin carbs.

I know this is cheeky, but I have for sale what IMO is the best stock style exhaust available.

It is made by Sebring, and looks almost stock, yet is much more free flowing, and suitable for engines up to 1914cc. Larger than stock tailpipes.

Amazing quality, they cost 384 euros plus shipping from Memminger - www.feine-cabrios.de

I want £175 including post. Brand new, perfect condition. Only selling as I am using large valve heads, which you can't use with heat exchangers.

It would be one of the best possible exhausts to use on the engine you are aiming for, especially if you are retaining heating.
