Hi Everyone,

I need some advice. I have been checking around the bug ready for an MOT and found that I have zero pressure going to the back brakes.

The front brakes are working fine, but the back brakes have nothing. I've been told I need a new master cylinder, which I have now removed ready to replace, although there are a couple of things I am unsure about...

1. I am assuming this is a single circuit MC, so shouldn't the pressure be the same in the front and back anyway?

2. When removing the brake fluid hose from the resivouir I broke the nipple. Do these come with new MC's?

I have attached an image of the current MC.

Thanks!!

Hi psimitar

I checked both the rear wheel cylinders and they're both fine, with no leaks. The brake pedal did feel quite spongey if I remember correctly.

It's defo single circuit would have two connections ontop if it's a dual circuit
