Rusty starter ..

I must have the rustiest starter in the world. Got my brand spanking new starter today, went to remove the old one and the postive terminal on the solenoid literally came off in my hand. :eek: The nut is seized to the positive connection - so I have the old starter out but for the life of me I can't get the connection from the battery off the now loose bolt ... :rolleyes:

Question is ... can I bump start her now to get her down the garage so I can get the battery connection machined off??? Bloody nightmare ...

If you turn the key and the GEN/OIL lights come on,
you can probably bump it.

cheers Jim - generally pissed off with it at the mo as I thought this was supposed to be one of the easiest jobs! think I'll stick to spraying and sorting the interior, I'm obviously not mechanically minded!!!! :tick:
