I am wondering if anyone here can tell me a way of getting paint looking its best, the paint is celulouse (I think) and it is on a fiberglass 1971 reliant scimitar, I noticed some crazing and small cracks appearing, and can these be removed?

Really I am wondering about polishes or other finishes can be used, short of a respray is there anyway of getting it back to a Good shine?

Thanks in advance for all advice.

Autoglym make a paint renovater/restorer that you rub on and work into the paint work.

Here is a little bit that was done on the rear wing of my bug (cracked and dull celly paint) ...... only took a few seconds too

Not the best pic in the world, but you get the idea :D

Try a tin of cheap spray oil (don't laugh) and a soft cloth and rub like f#ck! Honestly, it'll shine up.
if you wanted to paint the car in the future, would the oil bugger it up?
