Hi guys

it really depresses me that so many vdubs are being stolen! actually it really pisses me off!

ive recently bought my bug, and its currently garaged, but am moving out in a week, and he will have to live on the drive. I am going to buy a cover for him, and I use and steering wheel lock, but just doesn't seem enough!

I am so worried that he will be stolen! :(

can anyone post any tips for security for my bug.....or for any other vdub at that!!!

my partner also has a bay 1972 camper and is also concerned that its not going to be garaged anymore!

look forward to hearing from anyone!

cheers
becky

Take the HT Lead off, and take it with you.
It wont stop you being trailored though.

ANY car thief wanting to steal a dub isnt going to be a dumb ass joyrider......they probally will carry a spare king lead and rotor.....

IMO

unless you spend big bucks on a tracker.....just get an alarm load enough to wake you then either have a camera ready or a baseball bat
If its on your drive way get a plug in baby moniter ,plug into whatever room your in and use re chargable batteries in the sender unit and stick it in your car
