Article says he was bumping into parked cars......
The only problem I can see is that someone was having a bit of fun.Only link I have is youtube and they've removed it. He definately wasn't bumping into parked cars, they obviously needed an excuse so came up with that load of bollox!!
The only damage done was pointing out the fact that the local police didn't catch them in the act because they were too busy eating fucking donuts. The only problem I can see is that someone was having a bit of fun.
If no damage was done then no harm was done.![]()

It was the snowboarder who was arrested, what exactly for I have no idea. I could quite easily understand it too, if he had hit a parked car, but that's utter rubbish. I watched the whole video the day after it was taken and didn't see anything apart from some guys having a laugh!Suspect the video has been taken down, they usually do if it's 'evidence' of something that may go to court. It says it was the driver arrested for dangerous driving - is that your mate or was it the snowboarder?
If it was harmless fun then it's out of order, if he did hit a car though I'd hope he was arrested so the owner of the car can claim properly on his insurance, they'll need a crime number. Can't expect to crash into a parked car and the police laugh it off!
Unless it's happened yesterday, the driver has definately not been arrested.Hmmm I know the cops can be a bit hasty but surely they'd need evidence if they were going to make up stuff like 'he hit a parked car'.... like a damaged car! and it also says 'dangerous driving' which implies it wasn't the snowboarder, unless they'be both been nicked.
Maybe a local resident complained and they took his word for it. TBH if someone was thrashing up and down my street needlessly in the snow just for a laugh I'd have the cops round BEFORE they hit my car rather than after.
I've been 'caught' by the police when I was spinning a sierra around in the snow in a deserted Norwich carpark, they told me to make sure I kept the fun off the roads and to drive safely when I'd got bored of the carpark. And then left me to it.
Highway Code - Rules For Pedestrians said:16
Moving vehicles. You MUST NOT get onto or hold onto a moving vehicle.
[Law RTA 1988 sect 26]
Don't misunderstand me, I'm not saying it was the most responsible thing to do.Yes,it's ridiculous...that's why the Highway Code is there...

...which makes no difference I'm afraid...Don't misunderstand me, I'm not saying it was the most responsible thing to do.
It just amazes me that the police choose to spend their time with him, rather than doing some real work. I'm sure there were far more interesting and dangerous things happening over the weekend.
And he wasn't holding onto the car, he was holding onto a piece of rope![]()
Road Traffic Act 1988 said:Holding or getting on to vehicle in order to be towed or carried
(1)
If, for the purpose of being carried, a person without lawful authority or reasonable cause takes or retains hold of, or gets on to, a motor vehicle or trailer while in motion on a road he is guilty of an offence.
(2)
If, for the purpose of being drawn, a person takes or retains hold of a motor vehicle or trailer while in motion on a road he is guilty of an offence.
Which I'm sure they were also dealing with.Don't misunderstand me, I'm not saying it was the most responsible thing to do.

You wouldn't be saying that if the driver hit your car and drove off.Don't misunderstand me, I'm not saying it was the most responsible thing to do.
