Happy Saturday! Hope you're all having a good one.

This is what I have been working on.

Last year I was asked if I could recover these

When I got them beginning of this year, they had been stripped and looked like this

 

[Cat]

First job was to foam them, I did foam the back aswell, but looks like I didn't take pictures of that

Then, out came the good old brown paper to template

 

[Cat]

Then transfer that to scrap vinyl. As you can see it needs improvement

Round 2, making in tuck n roll, again using scrap vinyl and tweaking version 1. As you can see, still needs tweeking, but this now means I can address this and move onto the actual material

Final version, I skipped showing you the base build, as I did that last week

Here they are in the car. I dropped them off this week, customer is happy and so am i 😁

I like to line up my French seams with the middle tuck n roll line 😎
