Been going secret squirrel again this week, so here's a couple of things I've been doing today.
Fixed a friend's jacket as it had split a seam. I love the fact that the needles I use for this came in a tin that came in my old singer sewing machine. Most of my hand sewing is done from needles in this tin!

The other thing I've been doing is removing the tint from my windows.
I have never done it before. Watched lots of you tube videos on it. In the end I settled for steam. I didn't want to use heat as I was worried about melting something I shouldn't.
The rear screen was so rubbish, I could hardly see out of it. It's great to be able to see again!

This may or may not be the first secret squirrel post on what I'm working on 🤫😎

Apologies for the radio silence, one of my secret squirrel projects is now going to be revealed to you 🥳
End of January, I bought myself a new car to do up as a promotional vehicle for work.
Last night I finished phase 1 of the interior, it was too late to take pics last night, so I'll sort that out later.
It's currently raining at the volksworld show, but if you see my car in the car park, I hope you like it 😎

After an amazing weekend, today I'm sitting down catching up with my admin.
My second secret squirrel project was actually at the volksworld show!
I was asked if I could do the rear seating, bolster cushions and curtains. When I got to the show on Saturday and saw my name and company name on the spec sheet, I can't tell you how made up I was.
Then, to get a text Sunday night to say it had got a top 20 award was truly something special!
