Something is up with my front end

Im new to this forum and having a problem with my bug. One side is sagging. I took off the front shocks and it still does it. It makes a bad sound when I push down on that side and it sticks. What could be causing this?

Badly fitted torsion arms or bearings, or a broken spring perhaps. You don't say whether it has been lowered or not. Welcome to the forum.

Thanks, yes it is lowered with a adjustable beam. But I raised it up a bit. It did the same thing when it was lower.

Best dismantle it and look at the arms, bearings, and springs then, and at how well the adjusters have been fitted.
