Bug has been in dry storage for the last 6 months.. Never planned for her to not be used for such a length of time, but various things have meant I havent had a chance to even think about it.

Big meaty 2270 T4 engine, hasnt been started in 6 months... What should I do/check before starting?

Battery has been on a solar power charger thingy for most of the 6 months, and is showing good charge.

Check the oil level, and plan on changing the oil asap.

Planning on taking the plugs out, squirt a little oil into each cylinder, leave the plugs out and remove power to the MSD and the fuel pump.. Crank till I see oil pressure.

Check plug gaps whilst they are out (what should they be gapped at for a 9.5:1 T4 with MSD 6AL and blaster 2 coil?)

Plugs back in.

Start it.

Anything else I should be doing as part of the startup procedure/checks?

Then its onto the usual MOT checks, get an MOT and a tax disk (currently on SORN).

Sounds like you've covered everything I would have suggested, apart from fresh fuel - modern unleaded doesn't store well. You may get away with it, but if it doesn't start, try draining off the tank and replacing with fresh.
