My brother -in-law has 1972 Westy he is restoring and he can't get the indicators to work! The hazards work though. He stripped everything out to have it resprayed and the indicators worked before it went of to the painters. Has anyone got the relevant wiring diagram or ideas????

Download diagram for that year:

Indicators use the same flasher relay as the Hazards, so if Hazards
work the Indicators should too. The only difference is that
power for the flasher relay comes through a separate fuse for
the Indicators. More than likely the fuse has come loose or is
damaged. Even if the fuse "looks" OK, replace it and clean the
fuse holder.

Should be Fuse #11.

If fuse checks out, try push/pull the Hazard switch several times
to see if it will make better contact.

Had the same fault on our bay, turned out to be the contacts burnt out in the switch, only fix is second hand unit or a new one from machine 7 etc £135+ or £90+ depending on if early or late '72
Hopefully its something simple tho,

Good luck
