My newly acquired T3 fastback has a busted fuel gauge.
Its not the sender (at least not JUST the sender) thats gone south, because the sender has no voltage at all.
I have a manual for the T3, but its IN the t3, and thats at the workshop, and im here, so i cant really go and look up the circuit diagram.
So, does anyone here know the T3 electric system, can you tell me wether it has a thermal based voltage regulator type thing, like the beetle, to power the fuel gauge?
Im pretty sure its that thats gone, or maybe the fuel gauge itself, but either way.
Iv only ever had this car for a day, im not familiar with it yet. How do i get to the fuel gauage, and the regulator of there is one?
Anyone know what voltage the regulator supplies to the fuel gauage?
If i can first find the regulator, i will see if it has any output. If not, its the regulator, if it does, it the gauage.
