can someone ttell me if a car built in 25/6/73 is tax exempt- sorry if its a dumb question but new to this game!!

I believe its got to have registered before 31/12/72 to qualify.

it only has to be built before then, can be registered after end 72

has to be manufactured before 1st Jan 1973

If that is the build date then you're paying tax my friend, sorry. Though if it's the registration date then there's a slim chance it was built before 01.01.73 but only a slim one.

If it was something like a danbury or Devon could well be even a Westfalia as they had a largish stock sometimes.
