I'm looking for a breather box for my 2276cc. I have a Berg oil filler breather but need an additional breather to fit behind my fan housing.
I've seen a few types available like the Clyde Berg one for sale from Bernie or the long round type as seen used on a few Green Hearts motors. Not sure if there is any more available 'off' the shelf or not? or if someone makes them to spec?

Any tips/help appreciated :)

Or do what I did when racing minis - just dump all the pipes into an old quart round oil tin can.
Passed scrut and lasted for ever

Guess H & S are concerned these days :)

Forgot I even posted this thread!

I have bought the CSP breather box to go behind my fan. I also have the Berg oil filler breather. In a high cc engine you can't get enough breathing, especially with mine being a new case!

Yes I am venting my rocker covers.

Thanks :)

i have it on been told the csp breather should be mounted inside the car on the rear fire wall.
other wise it restricts airflow to the fan..
?
i have no oppion on the validity of this info just regurgitating the oppions of others.

I can't remember the make of it, nor can I find it listed on Pauls site. None of us in the club have had any problems with them though

I know the one you mean... As I said I have the CSP one to try out but I understand that it could possibly restrict air to the fan intake. It may need to be installed to the left handside of the firewall. I'll let you know how I get on...
