Happy New Year folks! What a year 2020 was....good riddance to bad rubbish. Let's hope for a year of more cars and less Covid. So without further ado, I give you my first pick of 2021. A rare bird (even when new), even more so now and a true wtf moment in Vw history:

Decent pick there Smull! I was debating if I should open the new thread, I thought there would be a Marina, or maybe at best a TR7, but no! I'd happily roll that, even though it looks like a Japanese import so doubtful if they'll be history with it or underseal

They leak water into the cabin. From every single place imaginable. And unimaginable... And after you fix all the leaks.... they find another place to leak. And after you spend another weekend fixing the leak you spent last weekend looking for... they find another place to leak. Mine was disaffectionately called "the Sieve" I've never hated a car as much in my life. Reminds me of that story on here about Brian wanting to throw petrol on the Ferrari followed by a match.

He's been trying to sell that for ages. They don't have the same appeal to me as the Trabbies do, but I quite like it. I couldn't live with the wonky speedo either Steve; the panel gaps aren't visible from the driver's seat, but I couldn't look at that on the piss all the time I was driving it!
