Thick side chrome?

Seen a few pictures of cars with thicker then standard chrome strips running down the sides... anyone know where I can buy a set?
Is it custom made?

How thick?

The width changed in the mid 60s, so would an early 60s set be what you're looking for?

Possibly, would this fit a 69 model though? It seems chunkier then standard on my 69.

Yeah it's just the standard chrome from an earlier car. You can fit it to a later one by enlarging the holes to 6.5mm and using early trim clips and rubber bungs.

Having fitted both stock ally wide chrome and just fitted Bernard Newbury Stainless steel side trim then i would not hesitate to get the Newbury stuff again its dear but it's just so right

That looks like the kit Im looking for... got any photos of it fitted? So If I bought the newbury trim kit and the clips they supply, it will fit onto my 69?

not with out drilling the holes bigger as Tomarse said
