That is the question.
I'm going to put drop spindles on me bug and get a new beam at the same time while i'm at it. I'm running 4.5" sprintstars on the front with 145 tyres. The car will be lowered to look nice but not slammed as I wish too maintain some driveabillity.
Do i need a narrowed beam?

Are you running 5 or 4 lug sprintstars? Someone may well correct me but I drop spindles slightly widen the front track. I think 4 lug 4.5" sprints have a more favourable offset that 5 lug sprints and sit ok.

Ther have been a couple of cars in the magazines recently that have had 2" narrowed beams fitted when drop spindles have been used to give a more stock looking fornt track width.

I suppose at the end of the day, you could fit the spindles and see how the wheels sit, then go for a minimal narrowing of your beam if need be.

Hope that helps
