normal 2 pin beetle pads fit, they do seem to vary on the tightness factor and sometimes need relieving. dont loose the 'r' clips, as they dont come in new pad sets, altho' you can buy them, or use proper lock wire.
Varga caliper brake pads
Hey guys,
Just wondering which pads to order for a set of varga calipers i've picked up for my bug. The ones that came out of the calipers look different to all the VW ones, as the top - where the pins pass through - aren't indented on mine, whereas the VW ones are (may make no difference)?
Also, the ones that were fitted into the calipers were extremely tight. I had to hammer them out. I've cleaned up the inside of the calipers, and the side of the pads, but they still seem pretty tight.
The back of the pads are corroded, but im sure i can make out Varga on the pads...

Polish the insides of the calipers and copperslip them.
