....in the market for a round fuel gauge to match VDO fuel sender with part number 21 89 7 64 (metal tube type), so I can enjoy the luxury of having a fuel gauge!

Anyone know if pretty much any VDO fuel gauge, even a modern one with white dial face would be any good? Ta in advance. :)

shows the dazzling array of styles VDO makes in fuel level gauges.

I do like VDO's "Ocean Liner" series! :D

But be careful because each gauge style is available to fit
a number of very different senders.

If you can't find the VDO P/N stamped on yours, use a multimeter
to measure the resistance range. The first number in the
sender listings is the Ohms when EMPTY and the second
number is Ohms when FULL.

Then order a gauge P/N intended for your sender range.

I merely posted this supplier as a reference.
