Love those wee commers, I restored the red and yellow pick up, had painted a red van back for it too, but it just didn't look right.

The Anglia van is a new one to me, really nice!

I've been hunting for this for ages - Matchbox Speed Kings Gus's Gulper, in white. They made the pink version for quite a few years so isn't hard to find (with a couple of interior colour/engine variations), but the white version is a bit of a unicorn, made for the last couple of years of production. It shouldn't be rare but it is. Annoying just before I started looking for one, a boxed example sold for less than I paid for this...

I was so convinced I'd never find one, I made myself a replica recently

That Whizzwheels bug looks nice, usual collapsed suspension of course. No boot sale for me today as I didn't get home until 3am after getting stuck in a Scottish town for 7 hours waiting for breakdown to decide how to get us home. Still, I always try and turn misfortune into success, so went for a wander and found a junk/antiques shop. Among lots (read: multiple displays full) of Days Gone and Lledo junk and overpriced buses and trains, I found a couple of jems

Boot sale finds this morning. £1 each for the z and the bus, 50p for the escort. The bus is absolutely mint, unplayed with. The corgi z240 still has its jewelled headlights.

Sorry can't work out how to get multi-quote to work - the Matchbox pickup was unpriced and I had £3 in mind - that's what she wanted for it. I actually went back later and paid the £5 wanted for the Bacardi set after consideration. Not pennies but below eBay prices anyway.
The town was called Haddington, not far from Edinburgh, there was lots of other stuff including some packed Norevs, but at £10 a pop I left them. Same story as some of the charity shops I've been in lately, they say they normally have lots more but have been cleaned out recently.

This Corgi transporter and cars were nice but I didn't ask the price

Lastly - that 240Z is ace, both Matchbox and Corgi had a go at those and I have a few, but that one is very tidy

I have several green ones in addition to that ^ the one with the black base has been mine from new but I painted the bonnet green as a child. White base one has lost its spotlights

I got mine in this set, the rest of which is sadly long gone except one of the figures

I'd love to have the Volvo again

I had that set with the volvo, boxed, but sold it a couple of years ago with a lot of other Matchboxes of that era to fund the Polo build. I have a metallic red volvo on it's own mint and boxed.
The shop seems to have some great stock! I have the corgi transporter, it was free with BP tokens at the time, I've several of the cars boxed as well, think I've the ones in pics plus a 2cv, transit and Porsche. My dads work used a BP station at the time so I got all their tokens lol

At some point Dinky must have had to repair the mould for this car, as the right front wing and rear quarter are terrible on everything but the earliest releases. Still, I like that I've ended up with a Swedish car, from an English toy company, made in Italy on German wheels...

I scored a box of Dinky and Matchbox cars off eBay, no-one else bid against my 1p starting bid. P+P was £4.99 but still a good deal - I'm not sure if it was the vague listing and poor pictures that put people off, or the absolutely filthy state of the cars. Here's the eBay pic;

I have no idea where they've been to end up in this state, and just to make things awkward they all have paper stickers so you can't just leave them soaking to get the dirt off.

Did my best;
