Yes yes and yes some more. Means I'd actually be able to go! :D
Nope not at all!
I like Big Bang and Bug Jam because I can watch the racing I like Action because it's so laid back you don't have to do anything and can just chill out although I guess you could argue you could do that at Big Bang

I like it cos it's different I'm not sure I'd be inclined to go to another one at Santa Pod

Too far away from me. A more central location would definitely be a good thing.
i think it would work :)

the only thing is if its the weekend before Vanfest again, having to pick which one youd want to go to (cos not everyone can do both)

i think its a great idea :)
Do it and wonder how you did it ;)

I will be there :hangloose
I agree with Emerald, Yes it would work at the pod, why wouldn't it!!! Vanfest has become a monster and people do make choices, how fantastic would it be to have action over the August bank holiday & at the pod?!

theres not that much difference dude, your only in brum aint ya?
Nuneaton. But I'm a tightarsed stooooodent, I can barely afford the fuel to go to the Pod, never mind any further afield!
I've gotta think about this one... I could see it working... but at the same time, part of me says, well you know, Bug Jam and Big Bang are already at the pod... so why the need for another VW event there...

that said, I love drag racings...

Too hard, gonna think and get back to you..

this crossed my mind too...

i think that if i went to Action at the pod i wouldnt do Big Bang and maybe even Bugjam. Action would have everything in one weekend so id do that, but would tend to stick to more local shows for the rest of the year (other than Spa and Vanfest)
i dont thnk the amount of vw events at one location would be a problem, look how many there where at the pod and avon back in the day :)

Very true, and each had it's on vibe. The Spring Nationals used to be as different to Bug Jam as it possibly could be but worked - apart from when it snowed in 1990!
I've not much time for BugJam, but i'll have to go next year for the racing, but i believe that it's more than possible to put on a 'proper' VW event at Santa Pod, and recapture the Halycon days of the early BugJams pre Invasion.

Agree 100% - I didn't do Bug Jam this year and not depsperate to in future but I love events at the Pod.

This is, I think, quite a valid point.

I'm guessing that the lure of Santa Pod for Brett and Bri is the potential for larger crowd and larger gate receipts which, in turn, mean the show might do a bit more than 'sometimes break even', which is a good thing.

However, I know a lot of people like the intimacy of Action and I think there are a lot of people who would be keen to keep that.

Tough call, I can't decide which I'd prefer but I do know I'd skip Bug Jam at the Pod for Action at the Pod as the NAS events are by far my favourite.
reckon if the plan is to recreate the feel of the earlier shows it would be great
i think in my opinion its a bit close to bugjam, having bigbang early in the year and bugjam late is a good sort of balance, its nice to have shows at different locations, it means we can go to some and cant go to some, why not ship all the shows to pod? because it would be boring, variety is the spice of life and as much as i like pod i think its nice to get out somewhere different.

like three counties show ground, its the most beautiful place i have seen in a long time, but going there just once a year makes it nice and keeps it special :)
