A few people have mentioned using WD40 for cold starting problems but how exactly do you use it and where?

Always a good idea to zap the HT leads, distributor cap and ignition coil with WD40 to keep moisture at bay, but it's not as good as Easy Start for helping to get a grumpy engine started.

Yeah, already taking care of that but it just made me wonder how WD40 could help. For example i used to have an old mini that didnt like the damp so i put a washing up glove over the dizzy cap and leads and it worked cause it kept the moisture out.
